Opening BackUpStream

BackupStream automatically starts when you log into Windows. It runs unnoticed in the background, but you will see an icon for BackupStream in the System Tray. If you do not see the icon, this means that BackupStream is not running. In this case, start BackupStream manually.

BackupStream will show hands holding in the tray when its running.

If the hands are flashing, you have a message in your message center that requires your attention.

Upon clicking on the flashing hands you will be taken to the message center to view your message and options on how to remedy the situation. In all cases wizards will guide you to the solution you desire. Here's an example of a message you may receive.
